Candice Downs, Registered Dental Hygienist

Candice earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Elizabethtown Community College in 1997.  Having been a member of Dr. Gabhart’s team for 10 years, Candice is practically a part of our patient’s families and that is just how you will be treated. She recently completed certification for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide and furthers her expertise with continuing education courses.

Candice resides in nearby Bardstown with her husband Randy and their two boys, Derrick and Clay.  They enjoy camping and hiking.  She has a great green thumb and loves to garden.

Amanda Sparks, Registered Dental Hygienist

Amanda earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Western Kentucky University and has been a part of Dr. Gabhart’s team since 2002.  Amanda’s goal as a dental hygienist is to help each patient reach their goal of a happy and healthy smile!  She is always looking for new ways to make your visit enjoyable and has her certification for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to make your appointment pain free.

Amanda and her husband Ryan stay busy with their daughter Morgan. They love hanging out together and have recently taken up bike riding. They can be seen many evenings making the loop around Freeman Lake, with the occasional detour to Baskin Robbins for ice cream!

Amy Shartzer, Registered Dental Hygienist

Amy earned her Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University in 1998 and is the newest member of Dr. Gabhart's team. She has completed certification for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide and routinely attends continuing education courses. She has over 10 years of dental experience.

Amy has been married to her husband Garry for 14 years, and together they have three children Challee, Braden, and Annslee. Amy also works as an adjunct faculty member at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. When she can squeeze in any spare time, Amy enjoys playing softball and riding horses.

Lee Morgan, Licensed Enrolled Agent

Lee has been employed with D. Gabhart since 2005 as his number cruncher. Lee and her husband, Chuck live in Rineyville and have been married 39 years. They have one son, Charles Jr. They enjoy walking. tennis, and gardening. Lee is also an avid reader and Sudoku puzzle solver.

Christina Lee, Office Coordinator

Christina Graduated from RETS Electronic Inst. in 2002. If you have any questions about your bill, need to schedule an appointment, or would like more information about the practice, Christina would be glad to help.

Christina has been married to her husband Mike for 8 years and has two children Kelsey and Kylie. The family enjoys walking and swimming at the lake, and volunteering with the Girl Scouts.

Donna Booker, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Donna has been a member of Dr. Gabhart’s team since 2002.  She has since completed Expanded Duties Certification through the University of Louisville.  Working together with Dr. Gabhart, she helps make your appointment run smoothly from beginning to end. 

Donna has been married to her husband Chris for 26 years and together they have three children Christopher, Ronnie and Brittany.  When they aren’t enjoying spur-of-the- moment traveling, they especially enjoy spending time in their newly built home.
